So I figured I do an older release. I recently got Pentacle -- to the fifth moon. And man I'm glad to have finally gotten it. I found a promo version of it. I really need the new version they have just released. However, these 4 songs are totally going to be getting a lot of play time.
The first song "Black at Heart". Is a classic Pentacle track. It's still in the setlist even now. You can see why. The riffs are great. The song just is an ancient death metal the way it should be done. The next song "A Serpent in Bloodred" shows more of a Celtic frost groove. Which is nothing to complain about because it sounds awesome. The riffs are just ripping.
"The Flame Masquerade (Her Sun Is the Moon)" is an epic Pentacle track. It's a six minute long track and it's pure thrashing death metal." Adoring an Endless Dawn" it's anther great Pentacle track.
I think this EP it's definitely one of the best to come out during the 90's. Really it just pure ancient death metal. If your a fan of Celtic Frost, Hellhammer, Possessed you will dig this.
