1. Hi, Rob how are you doing? So how has it been in the Necrodemon camp recently?
R: I am doing really good! The band is doing well and we have been very productive lately. We have been doing a lot of shows and writing new material.
2. How did you come up with the name Necrodemon?
R: It simply means the Demon of Death. I think it fits the band very well. This was the only name that stuck!
3. How is the Indiana metal scene?
R: We and a few other bands are the only existence of a scene here at all.
4. Let’s talk about your most recent album “Rise of the Supernatural”. How was the writing and recording process for this record?
R: We worked very hard on all these songs. The lyrical concepts were very well researched and studied. "Rise of the Supernatural" had to be the darkest thing we have done. So we did alot of homework on the album.
5. Have you ever had any Supernatural experiences?
R: Everyday!
6. I noticed you guys add a little bit of thrash, death, and black metal. Do you guys like to have different elements so you don’t get boxed in to just being a “thrash band” etc.
R: We write what comes naturally. We also are proud of our well rounded sound. We do it all. We try to keep it interesting.
7. Let’s talk about Lordes Werre. Could you tell me about the history of the band how you guys formed? Is the album “Demon crusades” still in print? Is there any way to get it?
R:Lordes Werre was my old band. It formed 1994 and disbanded in 1998. All stuff is available fro RIP Records in Chicago. Unfortunately the band is gone forever. But I continue on in Necrodemon and it is way more powerful!
8. How was the R.I.P fest? You guys played under the Lordes Werre banner because they were signed to R.I.P.
R: Actually we played as Necrodemon. We just played some Lordes Werre songs for the show. We played mostly Necrodemon songs. We split our set up in to LW and Necrodemon. It was a great show!
9. I noticed you guys aren't very “politically correct” do you think that has any influence on your music?
R: It has a lot to do with our music. Being PC is for wimps. Necrodemon will always be an outcast and on our own side! Our music is heavily influenced from horror films, dark stories, and all that is haunting.
10. You’re an old school headbanger so you have witnessed the trends come and go. Is there any bands that still inspire you?
R: Angelcorpse, Kreator, Vader, Immortal, Mayhem, Coroner, King Diamond, Slayer, Megadeth, Morbid Angel, Vio-Lence.
11. Any last words for the fans? Plug in’s?
R: Stay metal! Stay true. Don’t let anyone tell you shit! Thanks for the interview!
